Bartercard has heavily invested and will continue to invest in the development of market related training programs and materials to meet the ongoing needs of Licensees and their staff.
Bartercard Services has a dedicated Learning and Development division who are responsible for the continuous upgrading of Bartercard’s core training and with a goal to be delivering best practise training at all times.
This team is also responsible for the ongoing development of Bartercard’s proprietary online Global University – Knowledgenet, a centralized online training, testing and manuals repository specifically designed for Bartercard staff. This interactive Web based e-learning centre is built on a University class platform and compliments all of Bartercard’s training courses and allows staff to train at their own speed. The courses use combinations of hard copy manuals, workbooks, online reference documents, animated and webcast video tutorials to deliver the training.
All new licensees are provided with; pre-training checklists; access to Knowledgenet; orientation and preparation for installation of the Bartercard business in their local territory. The licensees will also be provided with guidance for; company structure set up; appointment of professional advisers; office set up; Administration processes; IT-hardware & software requirements; Human resource requirements and start up Marketing requirements.
An intensive four week training course will be provided at a regional training centre on all aspects of how to operate a Bartercard business, followed up with an in country install program.
